Understanding and controlling the quality of light is at the core of all Tony Corbell’s presentations. Attendees will learn how to see a unique perspective and not be afraid to push the limits of their experience and talents. Corbell will discuss all types of lighting and its tools in depth. Lighting tools include portable flash, studio strobes, sunlight and ambient light. Lighting applications include additive, subtractive, reflective and transmission. Each combination of tool and application will be shown and discussed in detail. Corbell will discuss the importance of control in digital capture and how a few seconds of extra time spent on capture can save hours in post-production. Light quality as well as light quantity and how light direction plays a significant role in the resulting mood of an image is another essential discussion topic. An expert on the subject of light control, Corbell has been teaching lighting concepts, theories and techniques for more than twenty years. His week-long workshops on this topic always fill to capacity, making this a presentation not to be missed.
